Senior Associate Job Description: Beacon Consulting Group is an operational strategy and systems integration firm that works with investment managers, third party administrators and technology vendors to improve efficiency, controls and profitability of middle and back office operations. While our clients run the gamut from international industry giants to boutique niche firms, they share the idea of maximizing their potential both for their own good as well as their customers. Our projects are as diversified as our clients; including financial reporting BPR, operating model design, creating operating procedures for a start-up, benchmarking to industry best practice, system integrations and compliance reviews. We are expanding our integration practice and are seeking candidates with strong middle and/or back office experience that are eager to leverage their experience towards a consulting career. Under the direction of a Principal or Manager, this person will be responsible for the day to day planning and execution of project tasks and deliverables for system integration initiatives. These projects may span any or all aspects of the system implementation lifecycle including system selection, RFP development and review, application proof of concept, gap analysis, implementation planning and model office testing. Requirements: Minimum of 5 - 8 years of financial service experience in mutual fund or institutional accounting operations Strong client service skills Previous system integration or relevant project experience a plus Strong writing skills required, prior business requirement development a plus Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. CPA and/or MBA a plus. Ability to flow chart processes, identify risk and control points, and summarize findings both in writing and orally is critical.
